ERC to meet world leaders in Davos

The European Research Council will attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland for the second time. The title of this year’s summit is ‘The Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Society, Politics and Business’.

ERC delegates include Sir Tim Hunt, ERC Scientific Council member and Nobel Prize laureate in Physiology or Medicine 2001, Professor Helga Nowotny, former President of the ERC, and Professor Wolfgang Lutz, ERC Advanced Grant holder. The ERC will participate in various sessions during the summit and will hold a press conference later this month.

The full programme of the WEF is available here. The aim of the meeting is to develop the insights, initiatives and actions necessary to respond to current and emerging world challenges.
