MSCAs award ceremony to take place

The European Commission has announced details of the second Marie Skłodowska-Curie Prizes. The awards ceremony will take place in Trento as part of the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Prizes will be awarded in three categories, namely ‘Promising Research Talent’, ‘Communicating Science’ and ‘Nurturing Research Talents’, and the competition is open to all FP7 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions fellows and alumni. The winners will be announced at the ‘Empowering the Next Generation of Researchers’ conference on 18 November 2014, and winners will receive a certificate signed by the European Commissioner for Education, Androulla Vassiliou.

The call for applications is open until 21 September; winners will be selected and notified in late October.
