MSCAs event announced

An event focusing on the Innovative Training Networks (ITN) scheme of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) is to be held at the UK’s University of York in October.

The workshop is being organised by the UK Research Office (UKRO) in its role as a National Contact Point for the MSCAs. The information event will focus on the 2016 ITN call and attendees will be provided with an overview of the scheme, as well as an insight into the elements of submitting a research proposal.

According to the European Commission, the ITN ‘aims to train a new generation of creative, entrepreneurial and innovative early-stage researchers, able to face current and future challenges and to convert knowledge and ideas into products and services for economic and social benefit.’

The event will take place on 7 October 2015 and it is free to attend. More details can be found here and a further workshop focusing on the ITN is expected to be held.
