Draft work programmes published

Previews of the next work programmes for Horizon 2020 have been published on a Moldovan website.

The draft 2016-2017 programmes can be read on a website of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova that focuses on the country’s participation in Horizon 2020.

Unofficial details have been made available for all seven Societal Challenges, as well as the ICT, nanotechnologies, advanced materials and advanced manufacturing and processing objectives of the Industrial Leadership pillar.

There are also details on the upcoming focuses of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and Research Infrastructures schemes, which both sit under the Excellent Science pillar. Information is also released regarding the crosscutting pillar of ‘Science with and for society’.

The European Commission is expected to officially publish the details of the 2016-2017 Horizon 2020 work programmes in the autumn. Moldova signed an association agreement with the European Commission to participate in Horizon 2020 on an equal basis with EU member states in July 2014.

The EU research and innovation framework programme will have access to a budget of €10bn in 2016. The draft work programmes can be read here.
