H2020 national dates launch published

The European Commission has announced the national launch dates of Horizon 2020 across the 28 EU member states.

So far Romania, Finland, the Wallonia region of Belgium and the Czech Republic have launched Horizon 2020, with Denmark set to hold its event later this month in Copenhagen.

Further launch events will take place throughout November through to February 2014, with Bulgaria set to hold the final event.

Although not officially yet confirmed to participate in Horizon 2020, the document also suggests that Israel will participate in the research and innovation framework programme, with its launch event set for 3 February 2014.

The Commission has also announced details of a series of thematic events for Horizon 2020 covering the objectives of the Industrial Leadership and Societal Challenges pillars. While many of the events will take place in Belgium, Bulgaria, Poland, Lithuania and Greece will also see activity; the workshops will take place during the rest of 2013 and at the start of 2014.

More details of the events can be found here.
