EUROGIA2020 launched its second call

EUROGIA2020, the EUREKA low carbon energy technology cluster, has announced its latest call for the submission of transnational low carbon energy related R&D projects.

The call is open to all innovative project ideas that reduce the carbon footprint of energy production and use potentially qualify for the EUROGIA2020 label. The process is one of continuous submission with four cut-off dates per year, the next being 14 February 2014. All projects submitted in the preliminary project outline format will be reviewed by the EUROGIA technical committee during March 2014 and necessary feedback will be provided to move to the full proposal stage.

The technical committee will review full proposals that are ready to seek the EUREKA label and eligible for funding by national funding authorities. The technical committee consists of representatives of European national funding agencies, research universities and industrial organisations.

EUROGIA2020’s goal is to support and promote international partnerships developing innovative projects in low carbon energy technologies. EUROGIA2020 is a bottom-up, industry driven, market oriented programme that addresses all areas of energy.
