ICT Labs announces Munich CLC opening

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT)’s ICT Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) has announced the opening of its Satellite Co-Location Centre (CLC), known as nodes, in Munich.

The CLC will officially open on July 5 2013 and will be the KIC’s second innovation centre in Germany, in addition to Berlin. The ceremony will include local scientific speakers and entrepreneurs as well as international innovators connected to the Munich innovation network.

ICT Labs also has nodes in Eindhoven in the Netherlands; Helsinki in Finland; Paris in France; Stockholm in Sweden; and Trento in Italy. ICT is one of three KICs, which also include sustainable energy and climate change. A further six KICs are proposed under Horizon 2020.
