ICT Labs offer €30k in business award

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s (EIT) ICT Labs is offering businesses the opportunity to win €30,000 for an innovative enterprise idea.

The ‘Startup Activation Contest’ announced by the Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) will award two prizes to the two top business ideas judged in the competition. Applications will be judged by experts and business developers and judges are calling for ideas on cyber-physical systems and the future of the cloud. The best selected ideas will then be invited to pitch to a panel in Berlin in November before for the winners are announced.

The contest is the latest in the ‘EIT ICT Labs Outreach Programme 2013’. The KIC is working with several partners, including the German Node, Business Development Accelerator and Action Lines Cyber-Physical Systems and Future Cloud and the competition is open to 19 of the 28 EU member states.
