Climate-KIC Germany accepts new start-ups

Climate-KIC has announced the 14 new start-ups accepted into the Climate-KIC Germany Accelerator programme.

This latest call has a strong solar energy focus as well as an emphasis on hardware and software. A total of 40 start-ups made applications to join the Accelerator programme in Germany.

The new teams include Mobile Hydro (a low-cost, mobile hydropower plant for off-grid areas), Lumenaza (a tool for setting up regional green energy marketplaces), ecoglobe (a decentralised waste water treatment technology) and Solandeo (a cost-efficient, smart metering-based service to facilitate the market and grid integration of large volumes of small-scale renewables).

The next call for the Climate-KIC Germany Accelerator programme will be held in early 2015.
