KIC InnoEnergy announces innovation calls

KIC InnoEnergy has announced its latest call for innovation proposals. The KIC is looking for business ideas linked to sustainable energy.

The KIC will support proven concepts that have the possibility to commercialise but have difficulties gaining business and financial support. KIC InnoEnergy supports research institutions, companies and universities at the last stage of the ‘valley of death’ and assists in the development of public private consortia that have the ability to take high potential ideas to the market faster and more effectively.

If successful, beneficiaries will have access to vital KIC InnoEnergy funding, a business-orientated framework for open innovation and a flexible management programme. Assistance regarding IP will also be available, as will an accelerated ‘go-to-market’ scheme.

KIC InnoEnergy is funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology along with 27 shareholders. Proposals must be submitted by the end of November 2014. Registration is available here.
