ERC Advanced Grant call opens
The European Commission has opened the 2015 call for Advanced Grants from the European Research Council.
The call has a budget of €630m and targets established scientists that are considered leaders in their field, have a track record of research achievements and are pursuing pioneering, blue sky research. The call is accepting research applications across three scientific disciplines, namely physical sciences and engineering, life sciences and social sciences and humanities.
Each grant award is worth up to €3.5m and the deadline for the call is Tuesday 2 June 2015. Last week, the ERC revealed the latest winners of its proof of concept grants.
