ERC releases info on Advanced Grants

The European Research Council has released information concerning its Advanced Grants.

The present deadline for grants is 21 October and funding is available in the fields of natural sciences, engineering, social sciences and humanities. Researchers of any nationality or age can apply for funding, and applications will be judged purely on the scientific excellence of the researchers or research proposal.

The funding available generally amounts to €2.5m and can be used over a period of up to five years. Calls are made once a year and grants are awarded to established, independent scientists. More information can be found on the ERC website.
