ERC to release first new work programmes in 2013
The ERC has released updated information regarding its calls for the first year of the next research and innovation framework programme.
The organisation says it expects to publish a provisional schedule for new calls for its 2014 work programme in December. This will be followed by a number of application deadlines throughout next year for ERC grants.
The body now expects its submission deadline for Starting Grants to be at the end of March 2014, followed by Consolidator Grants before the end of May; proposals for Advanced Grants are expected to be due prior to the end of October.
Calls for Proof of Concept grants are expected to have two deadlines next year, with the first likely to be at the start of April, followed by the second at the beginning of October. The ERC has announced that there will be no new calls for Synergy Grants in 2014.
The council says there could be further changes to the 2014 programme if there are delays in the passing of the Horizon 2020 legislative package. Further information is expected as soon as the legislation is finally adopted.
