Marie Curie Fellowship linked to ERC success
Researchers who hold a Marie Curie Fellowship enjoy greater success in obtaining grants from the European Research Council for research excellence than their peers, according to a new report.
This extends to other internationally recognised awards, with female Marie Curie researchers having a 13% greater probability of obtaining high profile awards later in their career than those who have not had the fellowship, reported the study.
It was also found that Marie Curie fellows had better publication success, having more articles published in higher profile journals and better citation records.
