TU Delft wins H2020 MSCAs grant
A university in the Netherlands has won funding from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.
Professor Alberto Bacchelli and Professor Arie van Deursen of the software engineering research group at TU Delft secured the grants as part of the programme’s European Industrial Doctorates (EID) scheme. The money will benefit nine PhD holders.
EID aims to train highly skilled researchers, encourage entrepreneurship and stimulate creativity and innovation outside the academic world. The university has therefore formed partnerships with three companies, namely Singularlogic, Bittergium and the Dutch Software Improvement Group, in addition to universities in Greece and Spain to secure the funding. The beneficiaries will spend half of their doctorate at one of the three participating universities, the other half in one of the participating companies.
