Canada and Israel launch joint EUREKA call for projects
A new call for Canada-Israel Technology Innovation partnerships is aiming to strengthen sustainable co-operation between the two countries and to generate mutual economic advantages.
Joint projects in this framework will be funded through the existing Office of the Chief Scientist in Israel, through MATIMOP (the Israeli Industry Center for R&D) and the Canadian National Research Council; other investment may also be leveraged.
The call aims to facilitate and support collaborative projects in renewable and alternative energy, water recovery and treatment solutions, brain and brain-related research, and other technologies as proposed.
Submission of proposals and approvals of collaborative projects will be in line with the EUREKA procedures, noting Israel’s status as a EUREKA member and Canada’s status as an associate member.
Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are being accepted now. Full proposals and funding applications will be accepted immediately following an approved EOI; more information be found here.
