Consolidator grants for non-EU researchers announced
The European Research Council has announced it is offering Consolidator Grants for researchers of any nationality who intend to conduct their research activity in any EU member state or associated country.
Consolidator Grants are worth up to €2m for a period of five years, with the opportunity of an additional €750,000 of funding. The grants are awarded in the field of physical sciences and engineering, life sciences and social sciences and humanities.
Research grants must be utilised at a public or private research organisation, or at an international European interest organisation (such as CERN or EMBL), or the Joint Research Centre. The application deadline for research grants is 20 May 2014.
