Deadline looms for ‘Europe as a global actor’ call
A call encouraging research and innovation between the EU and other countries across the world will close tomorrow.
The €10.4m call is part of the Societal Challenges pillar and involves two topics, namely ‘Enhancing and focusing research and innovation cooperation with the Union’s key international partner countries – proposals targeting Australia, USA, Brazil, South Africa and Ukraine’ and ‘Encouraging the research and innovation cooperation between the Union and selected regional partners – proposals targeting Southern Mediterranean Neighbourhood, Eastern Partnership’
The first call looks specifically at engaging and increasing the value of co-operation between the EU and the other countries, whilst the second call intends to encourage collaboration between researchers in the Union and others in “regional partner” countries. Both calls aim to “eliminate remaining obstacles to co-operation”.
The call opened in December 2014 and more information can be found here.
