Entrepreneurs to benefit from South America exchange programme
The European Commission has announced details of a new exchange programme for entrepreneurs with Brazil.
The scheme, which is open for submissions between now and 7 December 2014, allows successful applicants to spend between one and five months in the South American country. Entrepreneurs have the opportunity to work alongside and gain new knowledge from a local and experienced entrepreneur.
According to the Commission, other benefits include developing sector-specific skills and increasing self-confidence; finding new business partners; gaining access to new markets; and helping increase the speed of developing a business idea.
The exchange takes place between February and June 2015 and the Commission will provide some financial help to cover the costs of the trip. The scheme is part of the CONNECT programme, co-financed by the Commission and more information can be found here. The scheme follows the successful European SME Week which took place in October in Naples, Italy.
