EU centre encourages Japanese participation
The EU-Japan Centre in Tokyo has emphasised the importance of participation in Horizon 2020 following the publication of the latest ICT research calls.
A special event will be held just before Christmas on how researchers can participate in EU research and innovation framework programme over the next seven years. The half-day seminar will provide practical insights on taking part in Horizon 2020 and include contributions from previous successful grantees.
In 2011, the EU and Japan signed a science and technology co-operation agreement that has helped encourage mutual collaboration between researchers, further emphasised by the establishment of a National Contact Point in 2013. The event is organised by the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Co-operation and takes place on 15 December. Further details can be found here.
