Gibraltarian to advise Morocco HE
A professor at the University of Gloucester is set to help develop universities in Morocco as part of Horizon 2020.
It is hoped that Gibraltarian Professor Daniella Tilbury’s new role will help assist the higher education institutes strategically as well as provide scenario planning. She is currently holding a two-day meeting with the presidents of seven Moroccan universities in the capital Rabat and will lead discussions at the University of Mohammed V at Souissi.
Next month, the academic will return to the North African country at the invitation of King Mohammed VI and Princess Lalla Hasnaa and will deliver a keynote speech in Marrakech at the 7th World Environmental Education Congress.
The bilateral initiative is being co-ordinated by the Mediterranean Programme Office.
