Italy to hold national H2020 cPPP calls launch
The Agency for the Promotion of European Research, on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research and in co-operation with the European Commission, has organised a national day for the launch of calls under Horizon 2020’s contractual Public Private Partnerships (cPPP).
Discussions will centre on six of the eight cPPPs setup under Horizon 2020. These includes Factories of the Future; Energy-efficient Buildings; Sustainable Process Industry; Robotics; Photonics; and 5G networks for the Future Internet. The cPPPs are based on an agreement between the European Commission and specially-created industrial research and innovation associations. The agreements include specific objectives, key performance indicators and anticipated results.
Also being discussed during the info day are two calls under Horizon 2020’s Industrial Leadership pillar, namely Information and Communication Technologies and Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials, Advanced Manufacturing and Processing, and Biotechnology.
