EIT ICT Labs Summer Schools scholarships available
EIT ICT Labs has announced that Outreach scholarships are now available to students wanting to study at this year’s Summer Schools but are not part of the EIT ICT Labs Master School.
In 2014, eight EIT ICT Labs Summer Schools will be held. They will each focus on one of the eight EIT ICT Labs action lines: Health & Wellbeing; Smart Spaces; Smart Energy; Cyber Physical Systems; Urban Life & Mobility; Future Cloud; Privacy Security & Trust; and Future Networking Solutions.
For the EIT ICT Labs masters students, attending one of the summer schools is a mandatory two-week event, where half the time is devoted to a business plan development project, and the other half to thematic presentations, company visits and social activities.
The Outreach scholarships are only available for European students coming from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain. The local organisers of the EIT ICT Labs summer schools will judge whether students fit the profile.
