ICT Labs welcomes Master School students

Over 250 students from 35 different countries have begun their studies for the new academic year at the EIT ICT Labs Master School.

The students are the third cohort into the programme and a three-day opening ceremony took place at Eötvös Loránd University in the Hungarian capital Budapest. During the opening event, students were divided into working groups and focused on how to address specific ICT challenges. During the Students’ Challenge sessions, students had to develop ideas into potential business initiatives. Local ICT start-ups also gave presentations, sharing their experiences of working in industry and being an entrepreneur.

A number of plenaries were also held focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship, the importance of culture, and the EIT ICT Labs Alumni Organization. The 2015 admission to the EIT ICT Labs Master School is now open and details can be found here.
