H2020 data and digital media workshop announced
Details have been released of a workshop that will help to stimulate a greater presence of data driven digital media innovation in Horizon 2020.
The event will take place on 24 September in Brussels and is targeting European stakeholders. According to the European Commission, ‘the aim of this workshop is the analysis and the identification of current and future challenges for Big Data, media and content industries to be tackled in future European Innovation initiatives’.
It is anticipated that the workshop will comprise two sessions, one discussing the state of play and how to better engage media and content companies in Big Data initiatives. This will be followed by a session encouraging delegates to develop a manifesto for improved synergies between the Big Data and media and content industries.
