First Bulgarian company to receive Eurostars funding
AMG Technology has become the first Bulgarian company to win funding from the Eurostars programme. The company will receive BGN492,700 (~€251,920) for the development of the TRIPLE-S Microscope project, which will develop a powerful and innovative instrument with applications in nanotechnology.
The company will invest an additional BGN158,800. The total cost of the project, including all partners, is €2.3m.
Other partners include GETec, the Austrian SME leading the project; the Austrian Centre for Electron Microscopy and Nanoanalysis; and the Laboratory for Bionanotechnological Instruments of the Polytechnic University in Lausanne, Switzerland. The TRIPLE-S Microscope project was ranked 15th out of 510 entries in the latest Eurostars call for funding.
