Clever Marine Services Ltd is an Isle of Man-based marine service provider, established in 2009, with a core team of eight employees and a pool of up to 300 experts we can employ on a contractual basis. Our core team offers our clients qualifications as marine engineers and mechanics, master mariners, superintendents, surveyors and NDT technicians with over 20 years’ experience in the marine industry.
We are approved ultrasonic thickness measurement (UTM) providers by the six leading IACS class societies (GL, DNV, ABS, RINA, BV and LR). The overhaul/repair services of diesel engines offered by CMS Ltd are carried out by marine engineers and mechanics with IMO/STCW-approved certificates of competency. We provide riding squads for engine and machinery overhauls, complete superintendence/project management for dockings/repair periods and conversions, NDT and UTM services as well as survey services from condition/pre-purchase surveys up to representation of owners/managers in insurance cases and consultancy concerning international safety management (ISM), international ship and port-facility security (ISPS) and international labour (ILO) regulations such as the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC).
Our service personnel is based in the UK, Poland, Germany, the Baltic states, Russia, Ukraine and Myanmar. We are offering our services all around the globe and are able to clear visas and flights swiftly due to our in house travel and visa agent. Our service teams are multi-skilled and are therefore most versatile during their service tenure.
