Dutch consultative groups formed
The first consultative groups for Horizon 2020 in the Netherlands have been formed. The groups will scrutinise and approve the research and innovation framework’s work programmes.
The European Commission will set up work programmes in each Horizon 2020 research area. The consultative groups in each of the EU’s 27 member states, plus Croatia which accedes on July 1st, will need to approve the work programmes before they are able to come into effect. The groups will have to consult with key industry stakeholders before giving the Commission the green light.
Dutch consultative groups have been agreed for food security, agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime research and inland water research work programmes, in addition to others.
