InterTradeIreland opens H2020 conference
The body responsible for encouraging better economic and business links between Northern Ireland and Ireland has opened a major conference in Dublin.
The event organised by InterTradeIreland entitled ‘Collaborate to Innovate: Access Horizon 2020’ will see 330 academics, businesspeople and researchers evaluate the possible future opportunities under Horizon 2020. Taking place at Croke Park, the headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association, there will also be opportunities to discuss possible collaboration and build cross-border networks between the two countries.
InterTradeIreland is the only organisation which has been given responsibility by both governments to boost north-south economic co-operation. It was established by the Good Friday Agreement, which was signed in 1998.
