KIC InnoEnergy calls for proposals
The European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s (EIT) KIC InnoEnergy has announced calls for this year’s ‘Innovation Project Proposals of Sustainable Energy’.
The 2014 scheme centres on assisting entrepreneurs who have a final product idea, but need support in taking it to market. However, products must have a Technology Readiness rating of Level 5, where technical feasibility has already been proven. Implementation of the scheme is completed with at least two additional European partners, including the future partner for commercialisation.
Submissions must be made in the area of sustainable energy with proposals also connected to one of several thematic fields. Areas include: ‘clean coal technologies’; ‘energy from chemical fuels’; ‘European smart electric grids and electric storage’; ‘intelligent, energy-efficient buildings and cities’; renewables; and ‘sustainable nuclear and renewable energy convergence’.
The deadline for proposals is 1 December 2013. For more information, please click here.
