Canada, UK and EUROGIA2020 launch call for marine energies
The Offshore Energy Research Association of Nova Scotia, Canada, and Innovate UK are jointly investing approximately €1m in collaborative R&D projects to develop enhanced sensing technologies for tidal in-stream energy applications.
Participants from Canada and the UK are invited to submit joint project proposals for collaborative, industry-led R&D projects aimed at creating new products, processes and services for civilian applications.
Proposals must be collaborative and business-led, including at least one business from Canada and one from the UK. Independent evaluation will be conducted by EUROGIA2020, the EUREKA Cluster for low carbon energy technologies. Expressions of interest are to be submitted before 28 November 2014. In a second stage, a shortlist of applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal.
