Third Climate-KIC European Biorefinery Training School
Climate-KIC has announced it is hosting the third European Biorefinery Training School organised under the Climate-KIC’s European umbrella between 7-10 July in Budapest.
The main aim of this four-day Climate-KIC course is to offer an introduction to the key subjects and provide insight into many of the diverse issues that surround the bioeconomy transition.
Unlike a conference highlighting the latest research results for experts, the school will feature a more general audience and will deliver information about the latest technology breakthroughs, understanding of the key environmental and economic issues and expert views on the different biorefinery concepts.
In order to fulfil this mission, the four-day school will comprise of a series of lectures, site visits, in depth training modules and informal discussions.
The school is an ideal introduction for a wide public, including PhD students, researchers and policy makers, to become acquainted with the fundamentals of biorefining and to learn more about the current status quo, notably in Europe.
Similarly to previous years, attendees need to pay a registration fee covering lectures, site visits, accommodation and catering.
The European Biorefinery Training school was founded in 2011 by three academic institutions: Wageningen University, the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA) and the National Technical University of Athens.
