Climate-KIC project launches survey to help develop bioeconomy
Climate-KIC project Biohorizons has launched an online survey inviting stakeholders to help determine ways the bioeconomy can mitigate the effects of climate change.
The Biohorizons project is intended to map the current European bioeconomic landscape and identify barriers to growth, highlight where the opportunities are, and indicate areas where innovation would have a high chance of success. Additionally, the pathfinder project involves a pan-European network collating research on regional differences in bioeconomic development to help identify best practice and help develop policy.
The Biohorizons survey is an important part of the project to ask the business, research, and policy community how best to support development of the bioeconomy to help mitigate or adapt to climate change. It aims to help identify best practice and give stakeholders the opportunity to have their opinions heard at a European level.
