Sustainable city workshops across Europe announced by Climate-KIC
Climate-KIC has announced a series of high-profile sustainable city seminars across Europe during the autumn.
The events will take place in London, Paris, Copenhagen and the Netherlands and will bring together technological and commercial expertise in the private sector with that of the public sector. The seminars, focusing on the topic of sustainable cities, will help European businesses understand and create integrated and climate-friendly urban solutions. There will also be a focus on addressing the non-technical barriers in creating innovative and sustainable solutions, including social, institutional, financial, behavioural or regulatory problems, as well as reducing the time to market.
The workshop will have a practical format and provide examples of possible impactful outcomes for cities and regions. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with high-level executives to tackle the challenges facing businesses, as well as making relevant site visits. Start-up technologies will also be introduced.
The course will take place during October in London, November in the Netherlands, December in Copenhagen and Paris in January 2015. There is no charge for these events, and further details can be found here.
