Danish-Swedish launch event for IMI2 organised
The Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems (VINNOVA) and the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation, have organised the Danish-Swedish launch of IMI2 on 28 August in Copenhagen, Denmark. It will be hosted by the Medicon Valley Alliance.
The event will provide a wide range of stakeholders with the opportunity to learn about the research priorities of IMI2 and the calls to be launched in 2014. The event will also highlight the experiences and learnings of Swedish and Danish IMI project participants from both industry and academia.
Hugh Laverty, senior scientific project manager, IMI Executive Office, will provide an introduction to the strategic research agenda of IMI2 and an introduction to the 2014 IMI calls. Magali Poinot, legal manager, IMI Executive Office, will discuss rules of engagement in IMI2 and intellectual property in IMI2. Jan Skriwanek, National Contact Point Life Sciences and the German Aerospace Center, will give an introduction to IMI partnering tools.
