Drug discovery project invites new expressions of interest
The IMI European Gram-Negative Antibacterial Engine (ENABLE) project has announced it is seeking expressions of interest (EoI) from researchers and SMEs in Europe working on novel Gram-negative drug discovery programmes.
The ENABLE project is looking for direct-acting anti-bacterial programmes and applicants to join the consortium. Interested applicants will need to submit an EoI that provides data on activity levels and cytotoxicity, plus an indication of structure, thus enabling evaluators to assess programmes with the greatest potential for optimisation and further development. The ENABLE project has a budget of €85m and runs for six years.
The deadline for EOI is 9 September 2014. Successful applicants will be invited to join the ENABLE project as a funded partner. A webinar will be held on 2 September to provide further details; more information can be found here.
