Health innovation conference held in Brussels
The World Research and Innovation Congress for Health 2014 will take place at the EUREKA Secretariat’s premises in Brussels on June 4-5, it has been announced.
Co-organised by EUREKA and Research Media, the event is intended for healthcare professionals wanting to know more about the latest developments which will shape the future of healthcare innovation. Themed ‘How we do research – maximising impact through collaboration’, the event will address key issues such as international collaboration, funding for research, and support for research excellence.
Attendees will benefit from a dynamic programme comprising keynote presentations, workshops, and interactive panel sessions. EUREKA will be represented by four speakers, including Walter De Raedt from IMEC, presenting the newly published ‘Smart Systems for Healthcare and Wellness’ report. Two SME representatives will also be present, having participated in the Eurostars programme, the only funding instrument of its kind to specially target R&D-intensive SMEs.
