Innovative Medicines Initiative 2 Partnering Platform launched

The Partnering Platform for the Innovative Medicines Initiative, set up by the German National Contact Point Life Sciences and supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, has been re-launched.

The platform is dedicated to IMI2 and provides applicants with networking opportunities to prepare for the first calls in 2014 within the following topics: ‘translational approaches to disease modifying therapy of Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM)’ and ‘discovery and validation of novel endpoints in dry age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy’. The platform helps facilitate the quick and targeted search for possible partners and also displays European-wide co-operation offers specific to IMI2.

Networking via the platform is open to all IMI2 applicants. Up to 950 profiles, including 226 SMEs from 38 different countries, are published.

The partner search tool is provided by the IMI Joint Undertaking and is accessible here. All information regarding IMI2 future calls for proposals is indicative and subject to the agreement of the IMI2 Governing Board.
