Personalising Health call results issued
The European Commission has released the outcomes for its two stage ‘Personalising Health and Care’ call under Horizon 2020.
The €306m call, which sits under the Societal Challenges pillar, received an initial 2,096 applications of which 506 were invited to submit proposals under stage two.
The most applications were submitted to the topic of ‘New therapies for rare diseases’, ‘Understanding common mechanisms of diseases and their relevance in co-morbidities’, and ‘Development of new diagnostic tools and technologies: in vivo medical imaging technologies’.
The Commission has announced that it intends to send notification to research applicants about the final awards of funding by the end of next month. Full details of the results can be read here.
