Cambridge to host humanities event
A key event on Horizon 2020 will take place next month at the UK’s University of Cambridge.
The thematic event will focus on the 2016-2017 Work Programmes, which have just been released by the European Commission. This second Horizon 2020 work programme has a budget of €16bn over the two-year period.
The workshop, which takes place on 5 November, centres on the latest EU research and innovation framework programme calls in the areas of arts, humanities and social sciences, which are covered by the Societal Challenges pillar, in particular the ‘Europe in a changing world – Inclusive, innovative and reflective societies’ objective.
Additionally, other funding opportunities in these areas under Horizon 2020 will also be discussed. Details will also be given regarding to the application and assessment procedures for the EU framework programme.
