Info revealed on new space calls

Indications have been published regarding the research topics to be funded by Horizon 2020 in the forthcoming space work programme.

LuxInnovation has provided details on an upcoming workshop organised by the European Commission and COSMOS on the space calls in the next part of Horizon 2020. COSMOS is a network of Space NCPs.

According to LuxInnovation, the 2016-2017 work programme is expected to cover the topics of ‘Applications in Satellite Navigation – Galileo’; ‘Earth Observation – Copernicus’; and ‘Protection of European Assets in and from space (space weather, space debris and Near Earth Objects)’.

The work programme is also expected to cover ‘Competitiveness of the European Space Sector’, namely space technology, space exploration and science, international cooperation, outreach and communication’, as well as ‘SME Instruments and Fast Track to Innovation’.
