London to host Aerodays 2015

London is set to host the European Commission’s leading aeronautics event later this year.

The event, entitled ‘Aerodays’, will take place in the centre of the UK capital between 20-23 October 2015. This is the seventh edition of the conference and the first time the event has been held in the country.

Key themes for the event will be based around the European Commission’s vision for aviation, entitled ‘Flightpath 2050’, as well as the work of the Advisory Council for Aviation Research and Innovation in Europe. Topics set to be discussed include: ‘efficient and seamless mobility’, ‘competitiveness of industry’, ‘greening of aviation’ and ‘safety and security’.

‘Aerodays’ 2015 will hear from leading chief executives, including Rolls-Royce’s Warren East, Airbus Group’s Tom Enders, the International Air Transport Association’s Tony Tyler, and Vice Chairman of Air France-KLM, Peter Hartman.

More information on the event, which will be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, can be found here.
