EUREKA has announced the deadline for Celtic-Plus projects is 15 October.

Celtic-Plus is the EUREKA Cluster for technologies in the area of telecommunications, new media, future internet and applications and services focusing on the ‘Smart Connected World’. Celtic-Plus is open to any type of organisations covering those research areas. Large and small firms, universities and research organisations are all welcome to submit project proposals for the next Celtic-Plus call.

Unlike other EUREKA Clusters, Celtic-Plus’ new fast call process has one single phase: no project outline is required any longer. With the cluster’s support, each project participant submits a national funding application in parallel to the proposal submission in order to ensure rapid access to national funds. Well evaluated but not labelled proposals may get a second chance by submitting refined proposals at the second Celtic-Plus call deadline six months later.

Eight proposals were presented and discussed at the last Celtic-Plus Proposers’ Day on 25 June 2014 in Berlin. Project participants are now looking for additional partners.
