Graphenano S.L.

Established in 2012, Spanish company Graphenano Nanotechnologies is devoted to the production of graphene in industrial scales presented on sheets and wires made of copper or nickel, powder of graphene, graphene oxide, carbon nanostructures and spheres. The company is heavily involved in the research and development of commercial and industrial applications of such materials in the fields of electronics, electricity and the design of new composites for thermal, mechanical and electrical purposes.

  • GRABAT: Grabat Energy – development of a polymer based on graphene that quadruples the energetic density of the current Li-ion technology;
  • HORMINANO: A hardener additive for concrete designed to improve its qualitative and quantitative features, increasing its durability and resistance against external aggressions – ‘Graphenano’s engineers’;
  • CURTIGRAPH: A leather tanning hardener, reinforcing agent presented in liquid form which is used for tanning all types of leather and especially effective for tanning leather free of chromium salts;
  • In collaboration with Kopper Quimica S.l.
  • Synthesis of carbon nanomaterials of industrial interest in collaboration with the research group at the University of Castilla-La Mancha supporting this proposal (UCTR120087. 2012);
  • NANOTECH: Monte Alto building ranch. A more than 3,000m2 complete facade refurbishment and surface restoration with lime mortars, lime consolidants and graphene lime-based paint Graphenstone™;
  • CAPITA ERA-Net research project: Seventh Framework Programme – CO2 and H2O toward methanol synthesis at atmospheric pressure in co-ionic electrochemical membrane reactors. Co-ordinated by the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Professor Fernando Dorado); and
  • NANOLEAP: Nanocomposites for building constructions and civil infrastructures: European network pilot production line to promote industrial application cases.
