InterTradeIreland announces H2020 seminar

InterTradeIreland has announced details of its workshop to facilitate collaboration in Horizon 2020 between Northern Ireland and Ireland.

The ‘Focus on Horizon 2020 – ICT-Security Workshop’ will be held on 30 January 2014 in Saggart, County Dublin, Ireland. The InterTradeIreland ‘Focus on H2020’ series aims to provide a better understanding of specific calls. The workshop will give insights into topics expected during the first Horizon 2020 calls (2014-2015) and will enable the sharing of experience and networking of potential partners.

There will be an introduction to the topics in the Societal Challenges’ ‘Digital Security: Cybersecurity, Privacy and Trust’ Work Programme for 2014-2015. Practical information on how to form a consortium and plan a proposal will be given.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the relevant Horizon 2020 European advisors and find out more about financial support and advice available during the proposal phase, as well as the chance to network with peers and to initiate potential research collaborations.

Scheduled topics for discussion include project impact and implementation, how to analyse call topics, Horizon 2020 contact points, and understanding the European Commission evaluation process.

Active researchers and companies interested in submitting project proposals under ICT-Security Calls are invited to register here.
