ITRE Committee hearing of Commissioner-designate Feroci

Following the election to the European Parliament of former European Commissioner Antonio Tajani, the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) will hold an exchange of views with Ferdinando Nelli Feroci on 14 July in Strasbourg.

Nelli Feroci has been designated for the portfolio of Industry and Entrepreneurship. His mandate is expected to last until the end of October, when a new Commission is to be appointed.

Following the exchange of views, the Parliament will vote on Nelli Feroci’s appointment as commissioner during its plenary sitting of 17 July.
