Innovative training networks call opens

The latest Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions innovative training networks call opens today.

A total of €370m of funding has been made available for the scheme, which offers training opportunities to a new generation of creative, entrepreneurial and innovative early-stage researchers. The scheme provides new scientists with a combination of research-related and transferable competences training and will offer enhanced career perspectives in both the academic and non-academic sectors. It’s hoped international, interdisciplinary and intersector mobility will also be increased.

A consortium of universities, research institutions, research infrastructures, businesses and SMEs will be able to apply for funding, with applications not limited to a single country. Partnerships can take the form of collaborative European training networks, European industrial doctorates or European joint doctorates.

The call is open until 13 January 2015.
